This is one of my favourite sights……………naked wood, with its raw and natural beauty, fully prepped and awaiting the final transformation ………………now what colours shall I use this time?
Been a busy few days in the work shop trying to get on top of production. Four more pieces slowly coming to life………………each piece of reclaimed wood is individually selected to bring its own unique look and feel to the project through its texture or natural markings before being cut to size, sanded by hand, and the enhanced with a final colouring that further enhances its beauty before deciding on its final position
Happily today I had the help of a special friend who has been visiting which gave my aching arms a much needed rest form the sanding process and simultaneously enabled production to be speeded up……………it was also a pleasant change to have someone to talk with in these isolating times.
Look out for the new colours in the coming weeks – if you have some ideas of your own let me know and I will have a go at creating……….maybe we can create a new range together and name it in your honour.
